The Opportunity

NICC invites applications from passionate and experienced Project Managers to spearhead the development of our groundbreaking new facility. This role offers a unique blend of strategic oversight, business plan development in addition to hands-on management across all project phases. The successful candidate will lead the project from conception to completion, encompassing planning, budgeting, scheduling, construction oversight, and day to day operations. This position requires close collaboration with several organizations locally including local municipalities and other not-for-profit organizations, business partners, contractors, governmental bodies, and potential lessees to ensure the project goals are met.

Core Responsibilities

  • Setting up the strategic vision for the project and presentation vision to the NICC board.
  • Development a road map for implementation of the project.
  • Meet and interview various groups, businesses and individuals who would be ideal candidates to achieve the project overall goal.
  • Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process for selecting lessees, ensuring transparency and alignment with NICC’s objectives.
  • Overall responsibility of facility tenant build outs, preventative maintenance and repairs.
  • Design and execute a comprehensive project plan to monitor progress effectively.
  • Proactively manage adjustments to project scope, schedule, costs, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Employ advanced tools and techniques for project performance measurement.
  • Facilitate transparent communication with management regarding project status and challenges.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with all project stakeholders.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project uncertainties.
  • Forge and sustain partnerships with key third parties/vendors.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all project documentation.
  • Guarantee optimal resource deployment and management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to legal standards and regulations governing construction projects.
  • Supervise quality control protocols and safety measures throughout the project lifespan.
  • Inspire and guide the project team towards achieving project objectives.
  • Day to day management of the property, regarding maintenance issues, coordinating with vendors and lessees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Real Estate or related fields.
  • A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in project management and building development or construction sector, including experience with lessee management and RFP processes.
  • In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and legal frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, risk management and organizational structures.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP software is beneficial.
  • A deep-rooted alignment with the values and mission of NICC.

Salary: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
